THE PROBLEM
When Solin, an app that serves as the world’s largest marketplace for fitness challenges, came to us their brand was scattered: relying on their creators for content and traffic rather than making a name for themselves in the social media fitness space. It was hard to tell who Solin was, or who they wanted to attract, and one of their biggest road blocks was that potential creators they wanted to work with thought they may be a scam. Lack of direction was leading to a lack of trust online.
The Solution
First, we worked with Solin to hone in their brand tone of voice, as well as create a unique point of view that allowed them to attract both creators and users to the app by communicating their vision and value clearly. With the increased traffic, we were able to further nail down their target audience: women interested in wellness lifestyle. This was very different than the gym bro their branding had originally been designed for, so we worked closely with their team to design and execute a social media presence that felt approachable and feminine, while not alienating their male users in the process. The result: a brand that can hold its own and speak directly to their target audience, consistently growing the size of challenges in the app.
